The 2025 EROAD Australian Rally Championship has continued to gain serious momentum ahead of its season opener in March, with Rally of Canberra securing Toyota as its official naming rights partner.
To be known as the Toyota Gazoo Racing Rally of Canberra, the event’s new partnership is a major coup for the ARC, with the high-profile manufacturer’s addition to have a positive effect on the championship.
Enjoying a longstanding involvement in both Australia and on the world stage, Toyota is a name synonymous with rally, having had a significant presence since the early 1970s.
Since entering the Australian rally scene in that decade, Toyota has remained a dominant force, with its teams achieving consistent success throughout the years. Much of its success has been shaped by the Bates family, with Canberra locals Neal, Harry, and Lewis Bates each contributing to the brand’s illustrious history in the ARC with silverware.
The announcement comes just days after the ARC announced EROAD as its major sponsor for the upcoming season, who have signed on for a further two years – further illustrating the positive trajectory of the championship.
Entries for the Toyota Gazoo Racing Rally of Canberra open on 24 January, with the EROAD Australian Rally Championship’s season opener to take place in the nation’s capital on 21-23 March.
